Alcohol can interact with this drug and cause adverse effects such as a rapid heart rate and severe nausea. Do not use tinidazole if you are in the first trimester of a pregnancy. If you are breastfeeding, you will need to stop nursing your child during your course of treatment. You can begin breastfeeding again three days after your last dose.
