Vivelle-Dot Information:
What is Vivelle-Dot?
Vivelle-Dot is an estrogen patch, used to treat women with specific vaginal problems related to menopause. Symptoms can include vasomotor problems, vaginal atrophy, and/or vulvar atrophy. Patients who absorb estrogen through the skin, as opposed to taking the medication orally, can take a lower effective dose. Vivelle-Dot is one way to take estradiol, a form of estrogen. Estrogen is a naturally-occurring sex hormone.
