What is Lotemax?
Lotemax is the brand name of a steroid called loteprednol. It is an ophthalmic solution that helps reduce certain kinds of eye inflammation, redness, and itching caused by allergies. Patients can also use it to reduce discomfort after eye surgery. It comes as a liquid solution, which patients dispense using an eye dropper.
