Moxatag is an extended release antibacterial drug that can help treat conditions such as tonsillitis, severe inflation of the throat, and strep throat when taken as directed. Moxatag belongs to a class of antibacterial medications called penicillin that should only be taken for bacterial infections, and should be taken as directed by a doctor to avoid serious infections.
