What is Tenormin?
Tenormin is a drug used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure. High blood pressure increases the workload on the heart and arteries. If high blood pressure continues for a long period of time, it can cause damage to blood vessels in the brain, heart, liver, or kidneys. This damage can result in stroke, heart failure, abnormal liver function, or kidney failure. Tenormin is classified as a beta-blocker. Beta-blockers affect the cardiovascular system by slowing heart rate, lowering blood pressure, and reducing strain on the heart. How do I take Tenormin?
Use Tenormin as prescribed by your doctor. Take Tenormin by mouth with or without food at the same time every day with a full glass of water.
