Polysporin Information:
This medicine is an antibiotic combination used to help prevent infection in minor skin wounds.
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the package, unless instructed differently by your doctor. CLEAN THE AFFECTED AREA. Apply a small amount of this medicine to the affected area. The area may be left uncovered, or you may cover it with a sterile bandage. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light. Keep the container tightly closed. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE and you are using it regularly, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.
INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
No common side effects have been reported with proper use of this medicine. If you notice any unusual effects, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
